Lighting the way: Understanding the smart energy consumer
This paper from IBM is a survey of 5,000 consumers about their attitudes toward energy management. Cost is a key motivating factor for consumers to manage energy and to change patterns of usage. As many as 75% of consumers said environmental factors are important. Various demographic groups were analyzed.
